A Question -
Back when we started the adventure of Barny's we had a simple question - Why isn't there a quick service place that uses really good natural ingredients instead of processed cheap ingredients?
Why can't you walk up to a fast food counter and get, for example, a great steak sandwich that you could really trust? - all fresh and natural ingredients, tasting great, healthy, affordable and fast. . .
Barny's is a new concept in natural fresh fast food that aims to do just this.

Sourcing our Food -
We started life in a Farmer's market (www.broadwaymarket.co.uk). Our philosophy is to bring the spirit of the Farmer's Market to the city take-away. Sourcing raw natural ingredients from small producers, we make our food by hand every morning in our own kitchen.

Taste -
We've eaten some very expensive take-away organic food that tastes totally boring. As well as using organic and free range ingredients where we can, just as importantly we want to consider the taste of our food along side its history and seasonality. We feel that actually enjoying food is too often being left behind in the dust of moral crusades.

Food is an Adventure -
We love to travel and explore the world, and by doing this we were inspired to create our original market stall. Why could street food from a handcart be so great in Thailand or Mexico, but not here? We want to explore the world through our menu and use our Adventures page to explore our own food travel Adventures - and yours. We live in an amazingly diverse city and want to explore its neighbourhoods communities and festivals through our specials menus. Look out for our features in the Community Kitchen page and if you know of a great ethnic food source or recipe, please share it with everyone !
